The Runners Generation

We are the Runners Generation, but not for our running shoes, or beautiful landscape we can enjoy the view of.

Not for the running gears, and the marathons we will be signing up for.

Not for the sore legs or for the protein powders we will be drinking to run faster.

Not for the medals or for the places we will get to see.

But for the urge of finding something to hold onto.

In our jobs, relationships, desires. We are runners. We run around with no real destination. No real purpose or aiming goal.

Is this what we are going to experience in the near future with AI, machines, and robots, telling us what to do and not to do?

Will we ever be able to grasp a thought for a little while? And get comfortable with it? Trying to go beyond the surface of it?

Will we ever be able to run just for the view again?

And listen just for the words

And eat just for the taste

And cry just for the feeling

and love just for the Love?
